Family collections part 1

Family collections

In this series, I was working with the concept of ‘the archive’. I photographed and documented domestic objects and ornaments from my family home in their original setting without altering or changing the environment that they are in. So, leaving the environment as it is. In this instance, I am using Beswick animals and vases, which is an English ceramic. It is also a ceramic that my maternal grandmother collects, so there is a personal connection to it as well.
