‘Workshop series continued’.
Ordinary objects used in the domestic environment are captured through staged photography. By focusing closely on these tools and isolating them against a black background, the images abstract the objects to the point of becoming unrecognisable. Items that are typically overlooked are re-presented in a way that encourages renewed attention. In doing so, the photographs shift the familiar into the realm of the unfamiliar.
